Which translation service is best for me?
We provide a whole range of translation services including sign language, we also work with many linguists so we can ensure that we will find the best match of skills to meet your specific requirement. If there is something particular you need and it’s not a standard product we will work with you to provide a new service. Just call us and we will discuss your requirements.
What if I want to make some changes?
We can accommodate changes at any stage. A small change may be included in the original price so please do ask.
Do I need to come and see you?
We are quite happy to set everything up over the phone and or by email, but for larger more complicate projects it can be advantageous to meet you in person. We can work in whatever way suits you best and whichever way you prefer.
How can I get a quote?
We believe that every translation project is different so please call or email us for a quote. Our prices are extremely competitive with quality assured.
What is a proofread?
A proofread is a review and edit by a second translator to ensure the context of the original text has been fully understood and translated accurately. A proofread is particularly important for business translation as there is usually more than one way to say the same thing and the second translator can ensure the appropriate tone of voice has been adopted and conventions followed.
What are your rates?
We charge on a per word or per hour basis for every language ordered. Our rates vary depending on service, language selection and number of words. We can bill in one of three currencies, British Pounds, US Dollars and Euros.

My file type is not listed on the site – Can it be translated?
In short, yes. YourCulture has not failed yet! We have not failed on a file type that has been sent over to date, so challenge us with yours. Call or email to discuss further.
Where are your translators from?
Our translators come from all over the world. We only let translators translate into their “mother tongue” – i.e. If they are from Germany they can translate from English to German but not the other way. All our translators have a professionally recognised qualification in a translation related subject and are usually specialists in other fields as well.
I can’t see the language I need on your site – Can you still help?
As well as the team of in-house translators we have access to over 4000 translators worldwide, covering most of the worlds languages. We can absolutely help – get in touch.
I’m unsure of the source language of my translation – Can you help?
Yes, we can identify the source language for you. Send your document across via email and we will identify the source language and provide a quote.
How long does it take to complete a translation?
This varies with the language, the length and how challenging the text is, the availability of particular translators in our team and your timelines requirements. In general, it takes about 1 day to translate up to 1,500 words into any of the major commercial languages. Longer documents take proportionally more time to translate. However if you need a document translated faster then please let us know – we can split your document over multiple translators to speed up delivery.
